pen drive shows only 2gb instead of 16gb!
Just open a dos command window WITH run as administrator privilege. then type the following cmds.
Step 1- Diskpart Starts program Do Not type the - (ie diskpart> List disk then enter key)
Step 2- LIST DISK (shows all disk, look for Disk Number of the Drive (Your USB drive)
Step 3- SELECT DISK X (For X insert USB drive Number)
Step 4- DETAIL DISK (Detailed information of the disk that has the focus This will show if you have selected the correct drive.)
Step 5- CLEAN (One of the most practical and most dangerous: it removes at once all the partitions on the selected disk.)
Note for the next two do NOT use the size=n)
- After Step 5 Clean you can run this short cut Method else continue with Step 6 or Step 7
Once completed open a run command and type disk management then press enter
Find the pen drive in the list which should have un-allocated space and right click and format the drive
this should hopefully fix your problem.
Step 6- CREATE PARTITION EXTENDED (Creates an extended partition on the current drive. After the partition has been created, the focus automatically shifts to the new partition.)
Step 7- CREATE PARTITION LOGICAL (Creates a logical drive in the extended partition. After the partition has been created, the focus automatically shifts to the new logical drive.)
Step 8- EXIT (Quits DISKPART and returns to the command prompt classic)
